THE HUNT BEGINS.....

While decorating the Christmas tree, a few days ago, we had to let Dodger try out the reindeer role. She was not a happy camper, but finally got her to keep them on long enough to push the photo button.

Kevin is out collecting applications and beginning the job hunt. Hunting for a job is not a pleasant task. It can get very depressing and stressful. But it is a part of the process. I have no doubts about Kevin only the job market in our area....not many opportunities.

We have already began to cut back on everything. My major goal in the cutting back is of course my sewing, no new items for awhile..........and the hardest part is not to sew on the machines for hours on end. It does use electricity and that costs money; so am limiting my time. I will mainly be working on my hand quilting and hexagon quilt. Still basting away at all the pieces. Have over 200 basted and many more to go. So for awhile I may not really have many projects completed or to show.

Spent the day with my parents yesterday. Mom and I put up the tree lights, garland and bulbs. Dad and Kevin sat and supervised. Then we played a marble game for hours and hours....mom and I won once out of who knows. Dad and Kevin thought they were KINGS. Yeah right. LOL. Have a great day.

  4. Wishing you and your family the best of luck. These are difficult times we are going through and it is nice to see that you are embracing the festive season. Dodger looks gorgeous and if she could, she would charge a fee for modeling these antlers...
