A JAMMIE KIND OF DAY

Today I am having a jammie day. Yesterday Dodger and I walked an hour in the morning, did all sorts of stuff in the afternoon and then took a 45 minute walk last night. It was a lot of fun and effort, my joints are a tad bit stiff and sore today which is why I am having a lazy kind of day today. Just sewing on and off and playing on the computer off and on. Everyone should have one of these kind of days now and then; don't you agree? Now I am off to catch up on everyones blogs that I miss on hubbies days off.

I received these in the mail; I just love each one.

The wooden one is from my friend Vicki.

The town scene is from my friend Valerie whose blog can be read at
http://ausrose.blogspot.com/
The artful one is from my friend Holly whose blog can be read at http://www.fabricmom.com/

Take a stop by each of their blogs, they are all interesting fun ladies and worth taking the extra stop.

Choosing which colors to use is difficult. Choosing which colors should go next to this one, no that one, wait what about that one....its not an easy task. But it is fun!

These have now been cut into strips and will be assembled in a different way! Is quilting not FABULOUS!

  1. Actually, yes. I'd love to learn one day. Reading your blog and several others that quilt just might teach me a thing or two! :)

  2. I just had to laugh when I started reading your blog today - we have a biscuit here in the UK called a Jammie Dodger! I hope you had a really lovely relaxing day and got lots done.

  3. Glad you like the postcard. Yesterday I got to sleep in. It was heavenly. Today seems like a day for jammies.
