I have been sewing on the Old Tobacco Road mystery quilt and have all the pieces cut out, sewn together and on the bed all lined up...but wait a moment; it does not look at all like Bonnies layout. What did I do wrong.
After agonizing hours of frustration and confusion, I had to admit finally that my brain would not accept (for whatever reason) the layout she has on her site. My layout is now totally different. I am very disappointed with myself, but I am also happy with the layout my brain has accomplished. No picture yet, I still have numerous amounts of sewing to do before it is completed. I will post a picture when it is completed. I hope you all have a great day!

ReplyDeletehMany people don't follow the same layout as Bonnie on her mysteries. Many did variations of her last mystery, Orange Crush. I didn't do mine like hers and I love it! A different layout makes it yours.....all yours! If you like it, go with it. Can't wait to see it.
